Kanye West had all eyes on him earlier this week after wearing a “White Lives Matter” t-shirt with conservative podcast host Candace Owens. Now, Ye has continued to stay in the spotlight by appearing on Tucker Carlson Tonight. I haven’t heard him articulate his true feeling until last night on Carlson, and I loved it.
Kanye West is a huge figure in the fashion, music, and Hollywood industry yet he has always been exceptionally mysterious in where he shows up, what he says, how he says it, etc. To say I am fully fascinated by what I heard from him would be an understatement.
I truly feel as though Kanye’s ex-wife, liberal Kim Kardashian, had a negative impact on him. Since his divorce, it seems a though he has been focusing deeply on his faith without the loud distractions of Hollywood. It’s almost like we are finally seeing the real Kanye.
Did anyone else feel this way?
After seeing his social media rant posts, I was not expecting the kind of composure he had while speaking to Tucker Carlson. For someone that is accused of being crazy, Kanye articulated his feelings and beliefs thoughtfully, articulately, and intelligently. His way of transitioning between loud feelings with his art to composed feelings with his words is nothing short of compelling.
I hope Kanye continues to display his beliefs through his art and his words, because it is making a big impact among the public. His words are encouraging more people to think deeply about what’s going on behind the scenes of our culture and politics.
And that’s exactly what needs to happen at this point of the indoctrination cycle.
