You know what I’ll never understand? The movie industry.
Hollywood produces “woke” movies and then COMPLAINS and virtue signals at us when we don’t purchase tickets!
Uhhh, that’s not how it works…
In an attempt to pander to woke Leftists, the infamous James Bond character will reportedly be handed to a female once Daniel Craig’s role comes to an end.
Daniel Craig spoke out about the decision and the Left lost their mind because he promoted women being showcased in NEW roles.
Here’s his direct quote:
“There should simply be better parts for women and actors of colour. Why should a woman play James Bond when there should be a part just as good as James Bond, but for a woman?”
Yeah, that SHOULD make total sense.
The keyword in that statement is “should.”
I’m not sure why Hollywood does this, but instead of creating actual movie roles for women, they just swap out the guy that people have known FOREVER.
I feel like I would be MORE OFFENDED by being a “woke replacement” instead of someone writing a brand new role and starting the NEXT legacy of characters.
