It’s time to forget Dr. Fauci. Seriously. Stop watching him. Stop treating his word as gospel. Stop even perking up your eyebrow when you hear that signature gravelly voice coming from your phone or your television. Because it is a lie. Everything he says is a lie. His entire presence is carefully calculated to project a veneer of authority he honestly hasn’t earned. He’s been wrong about nearly everything. He was against masks before he was for them. He’s always been a stringent advocate of lockdowns. On March 5th, he called the Texas decision to lift its mask mandate “inexplicable.” “From a public health standpoint, it’s ill-advised,” he said. Three weeks after the mask mandate was lifted, COVID cases in Texas hit a record low.
And now? The Hill’s Joe Concha crunched some numbers from the CDC and found:
On March 2, the seven-day rolling average of COVID-19 deaths in Texas was 232. On April 11, there were 24 deaths in the state, with the seven-day rolling average falling to 73 and trending downward, representing a 69 percent drop. Cases also have dropped from above 7,000 in early March to fewer than 4,000 now, according to the CDC.
Fauci just couldn’t make sense of the fact that Texas Governor Greg Abbot had dared to defy his doomsday predictions and did what was best for his state. “It could be confusing because often you have to wait a few weeks to see the effect,” he told the fearmongers at MSNBC.
As if this record of failure wasn’t enough, now even VACCINATION isn’t enough for Lord Fauci as America finally begins to turn the corner on this nightmare. “What Would Fauci Do?” asked Business Insider because America surely needed guidance from this person that nobody elected that has somehow become the arbiter as to how “responsible” Americans are supposed to live their lives.
“I don’t think I would — even if I’m vaccinated — go into an indoor, crowded place where people are not wearing masks,” Fauci told Business Insider.
So now, even the VACCINE isn’t enough to resume normal activities? Enough. Enough of Fauci. Enough of one little man dictating how free Americans should and shouldn’t live their lives. Take the vaccine, or don’t take it. The choice is up to you, as it should be.
But with all your might, I urge you to resist the constantly moving goalposts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Resist the message that is sent when the vaccinated Vice President Kamala Harris posts a photo of herself on a private plane wearing a mask. Resist Fauci when he tells you that – even after vaccination – you should STILL avoid breathing the same air as your fellow citizens.
In fact, resist the urge to listen to Fauci at all. Hell, make this the last time you’ll even bother reading something with his name when it comes up. It is no coincidence that the COVID-19 pandemic has made the federal government bigger and more powerful than ever. For it to continue to grow in the ways in which those now in charge want it to, they will need one crucial ingredient: your fear. Fear of returning to normal. Fear of the disease. Fear of your friends and neighbors.
Reject all of this. If there is anything to fear, it is a future in which the whims of the maniacal Fauci dictates our lives. So stop listening to him. Ignore him. Forget him. And don’t embrace a “new” normal…embrace NORMAL.
