When it comes to the science of COVID-19, one thing is exact–there is no evidence or data to support lockdowns. Still, we know that substance abuse and mental health disorders are substantially growing thanks to overreaching policies.

Some of the world’s leading public health and medicine experts, including Dr. Sunetra Gupta of Oxford University, Dr. Martin Kulldorff of Harvard University, and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya of Stanford University, authored a petition from the scientific community to end lockdowns and mask mandates to improve global problems with mental health and substance abuse.

To date, there have been over 600 signatories to the petition from the scientific community & doctors (& you can read more information about the petition here).

In addition to encouraging a change due to mental health & substance abuse, the petition says that keeping children out of school is a “grave injustice” and that cultural activities should resume and businesses should reopen.

Importantly, it also provides the perspective that COVID-19 lockdowns result in “… lower childhood vaccination rates, worsening cardiovascular [heart] disease outcomes, fewer cancer screenings, and deteriorating mental health – leading to greater excess mortality in years to come, with the working class and younger members of society carrying the heaviest burden.”

Kudos to these outspoken scientists and doctors for sharing scientific truth with the world! Post about the petition to get the information out there & share with those who may not know a different perspective when it comes to COVID-19 lockdowns.
