Hundreds of Communist Protesters March in Philadelphia, Call for a “Class War”

Hundreds of communist protesters were seen holding a demonstration on the streets of Philadelphia over the weekend, marching with the red sickle and hammer communist flag and calling for a “class war” in America. The event was organized by the Revolutionary Communists of America (RCA), which announced that it held its founding congress in Pennsylvania over the weekend.
The RCA is a coordinated group that calls for the complete dismantling of capitalism. According to the group’s website, it defines itself as a “party of class fighters committed to the complete overthrow of capitalism.”
“We fight for a world of material superabundance and reject the artificial scarcity of a system based on the pursuit of profits,” RCA stated. “We fight to build a revolutionary leadership worthy of the name and to establish a workers’ government that can mobilize the working class to tackle the capitalist roots of war, inequality, oppression, and climate catastrophe.”
“As part of the struggle for the American Socialist Revolution, we fight for concrete improvements in workers’ lives and offer a vision for how society could be reorganized once the working class wins political and economic power,” the group added.
Approximately 300 people participated in the march, chanting slogans such as “fight the rich and feed the poor,” according to Fox News. The demonstration received little media attention, and police clarified that there were “no significant issues, no citations, no arrests.”
Multi-billionaire and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk reacted to a viral video of the protest on X with a “!” as the video showed hundreds of communist protesters marching through the streets carrying communist flags.
