Happy Thanksgiving Cutservatives! Whether you are participating in a ‘Turkey Trot,’ discussing politics at the dinner table with family members, or volunteering at a local food bank, I hope you all enjoy your over-priced turkey dinners and give thanks to all that you are grateful for this holiday season.
This Thanksgiving, I will be spending the day in the great state of Texas with my boyfriend’s family and taking a little day trip to visit Magnolia Farms in Waco, home to the great Chip and Joanna Gaines!
I am on the hunt specifically for a cinnamon roll ornament there! Hopefully, I find it. I also made green bean casserole for a Friendsgiving dinner with my friends, and it was the first time I’ve not only made it but tried it. Obsessed is an understatement! This is now going to have to be a staple at all holiday events involving yours truly. Not to mention it’s the easiest and cheapest thing I think you could make! We love a simple recipe moment.
I hope you’re also able to spend Thanksgiving with those you love, and if you know someone who doesn’t have anywhere to spend Thanksgiving in your local area, reach out through your Cuteservatives subgroup and invite them!
I’m especially thankful this year for Cuteservatives who make my job so fun and rewarding and make me SO proud. From getting involved in their local school boards to the foster care system this year, I am always impressed and inspired by their love of country and willingness to help others.
Have a great Thanksgiving, and let me know what you have planned for the day in the comments!
Love and gobbles,
Alex
