If you ever start to think that maybe gun regulation would work, look no further than the crime haven city of Chicago. Chicago is famous for its gun regulation, but here’s the thing; it doesn’t work.

Recently over one weekend, Chicago had over thirty shootings and which killed four teenagers. Due to defunding, the police, and laws that prohibit Americans to arm themselves, Chicago’s streets are growing more and more dangerous.

These policies that strip any form of legal protection are growing among big-name cities like Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles, but they just don’t work. Each of these cities has implemented some form or fashion, yet the crime rates continue to skyrocket.

At this point, these cities need to lose the partisan politics that continue to hurt their very own people. They can’t keep sticking to policies that are proven not to work; it is killing their own constituents’ children. People need law and order. People need self-defense. There are no excuses left for the governments in these big cities.
