I am so happy to see true leaders standing up against the CCP, like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who just this week signed a bill combating the Chinese Communist Party’s influence in America. The bill protects public institutions from foreign influence by prohibiting agreements between public entities and any malignant forces like China and Cuba.

DeSantis really hammered it home at the press conference, saying that we need accountability for the pandemic’s origins, that the CCP is primarily to blame for COVID-19, that American taxpayer dollars were probably flown to Wuhan, and that the World Health Organization is in the pocket of the CCP and helped get negative attention away from China. Hopefully, Governor DeSantis will inspire other politicians to lead with strength and go on offense. 

Because if you haven’t realized yet, the Chinese Communist Party is on the move. Well, they’ve actually been on the move for quite some time. Some examples:

1. They created a pandemic-level virus, lied to the world about it’s spreading potential, and then in early 2020 made all the doctors and journalists who dared to speak out about the virus being able to spread from person to person just disappear.
2. They are influencing our news by paying American journalists.
3. They are infiltrating our education system and indoctrinating our own American kids by using “Confucius Institutes” that are pitched to our schools as language and cultural exchange curriculum but are actually just state-sponsored propaganda programs. Mhm. In American schools!
4. And now, as a Texan, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but a billionaire member of the Chinese Communist Party just bought 130 acres of land in Texas near key US military facilities. And they built a wind farm on it. Which means they would technically be given access to our grid and its sensitive internal safety information.

America has let the Chinese Communist Party into our country far too much. Governor Ron DeSantis took a noble stand against the CCP to protect our country and ALL Americans. We can only hope that other American leaders will follow suit.
