Fact: COVID is a wholly political disease where data is ignored, statistics are manipulated, and actions are taken in the name of “science.” Oftentimes, “science” is code for politics. The teacher’s unions, private school donors, or where you stand on issues generally fall on ideological lines. Sadly, our children are stuck in the prickly crosshairs of politics when they are forced to comply with mask mandates in schools regardless of the validity that masks do anything at all to stop the spread of COVID. Statistics don’t lie. We can see the data very clearly. Our children do not need to wear masks in school or anywhere for that matter.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published a comprehensive study in May on COVID transmission in U.S. schools. The study evaluated 90,000 elementary students in 169 Georgia schools from November 16 to December 11. They found no statistically significant difference in schools that made masking optional and those that required students to wear masks. Even New York Magazine, a liberal publication, conducted research on this topic and found that masks were bogus. Specifically, David Zweig reviewed 17 different studies cited by the CDC and found little reason to believe that masks were making a difference in schools.
Further, CDCs own data shows that approximately 400 children have died WITH COVID during the entire “pandemic.” Note, not FROM COVID, but WITH COVID, as it is virtually indisputable that these children had other underlying health conditions.
When it comes to leftist parents, they are thrilled to make martyrs of their children while using them as political pawns to virtue signal that they are exceptional people who care about others. Unless, of course, those “others” have conservative values.
