Florida Church Hosts Drag Queen ‘Penny-Cost’ for Sunday Service
Allendale Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, Florida recently held a Sunday morning service featuring a drag queen Isaac Simmons, who goes by the stage name “Penny-Cost” — a distortion of the Christian holiday Pentecost.
The so-called church hosted Simmons to give what resembled sermon combined with poorly written slam-poetry, and a strong message, not of the saving love of Christ — but of the pervasive doctrine of leftism.

Simmons’ message to the church included a “denouncement of capitalism, embrace of Liberation Theology, and a demand that doctrine be overturned in favor of an indiscriminate affirmation equated with God’s holy wisdom.” Simmons also happens to be a seminary student in Boston, and a candidate for ordained ministry. “That’s right, they’re ‘gonna give me a church one day! This hot mess-express is going to be preaching regularly,” Simmons said.
The church contains plenty of virtue-signaling displays, like signs hanging behind the stage where a cross might otherwise be found in Christian churches, but instead, phrases like, “Speak Up for Black Lives,” and “Your Silence is Violence,” are featured in bold lettering.
“We are here to learn and to grow and deconstruct and to reimagine what the church can be, who church can be for, and how church can feel together. It can be a place unafraid to denounce queer-phobia, a place unafraid to name the sin of racism, and to call for an end to white supremacy. A place where all have equal and equitable access not just to the pulpit itself, to the sanctuary, but to God themself.”

Simmons not only made a mockery church services by dressing in a sequins dress complete with stilettos and black wings behind his back, but he even referred to God as “themself.” This sort of behavior does not ever belong in a church. Claiming to preach the Word of God, warping objective truth and reality, and using the alter as an instrument to progress a radical agenda is all beyond disgraceful.
“The time of change making will likely be uncomfortable for you, but just as the liminal last days of Christ’s life were uncomfortable for him, the liminal days which rest between now and the end of injustice will be uncomfortable for us all.”

The church felt so confident in the guest speaker and the message being shared that they posted entire live-streams of the service online for additional viewers to see. Instead of speaking about Christ, preaching the Gospel, or referring to the Scripture for any of his statements, Simmons spoke entirely in illogical metaphors that lacked meaning or even a basic understanding of reality.
Simmons and the head pastor, Andy Oliver, then asked all of the children to join them at the alter, because for some reason, men who feel the need to parade around as overdramatized versions of women also feel the need to include children in their delusional fantasies. The two girls were told to ask Simmons any questions they had, and simply said, “I like your eyeshadow,” — but remember, none of this is grooming them into a specific ideology.
It was a disturbing display of Godlessness, so far from everything the church should represent.
