As a follow-up project to the success of our Turning Point USA Professor Watchlist, our School Board Watchlist is committed to bringing you the craziest stories from woke school boards nationwide. Today, we’re diving into the insanity of Farmington Public Schools in Michigan, which recently challenged students in the district to complete a “21 Day Equity Challenge,” as described on their website.
The challenge specifically encouraged students to attend a Black Lives Matter protest in order to properly “understand equity” and discouraged people living in the district from claiming our nation is the “land of opportunity.”
The founders of the challenge said the exercise is meant “for participants to look through a racial lens every day.”
As school boards nationwide embrace woke ideology and social justice initiatives, groups like Farmington Public Schools and their equity initiative become more and more mainstream.
