EXPOSED: Canadian ‘Mass Graves’ HOAX led to 83 Churches being Vandalized, Burned

In the age of information, we’ve seen the creation of some of the greatest hoaxes in history. Think Jussie Smollett, or “mostly peaceful protesters” during the 2020 BLM riots. With the ability of social media to reach millions, these hoaxes often spiral out of control, leading to real-world reactions — and the “mass graves” of children under schools in Canada is one of the latest stories to be exposed as a hoax.

Two years ago it was alleged that the mass graves of over 200 indigenous children were “discovered” in Canada near a residential school. After a recent excavation of the site where the purported graves were found using ground-penetrating radar, it has been confirmed that there were no graves, and the story is yet another hoax.

Unfortunately, this hoax gained so much traction before being proven false that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ordered the nation’s flag to be flown at half-mast, the Pope apologized for the “deplorable evil” committed by the Catholic church, and outraged and lied to Canadians burned down 83 Christian churches.

According to Chief Derek Nepinak of the Minegoziibe Anishinabe, 14 excavations held this past summer in the basement of Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Catholic Church concluded that there were no human remains.

“The excavation would be an effort to determine the truth of the reflections identified by ground penetrating radar that was done twice over this location in the past twelve months to lead to greater certainty of the extent and location of the reflections,” Chief Nepinak stated.

He shared that they hired an archeological team from the University of Brandon, a team typically used by regional police, but, “found no conclusive evidence of human remains in their excavation of the ground under the church basement.”

Back in the early 1900s residential schools that were primarily run by churches, were set up throughout Canada to assimilate indigenous children into Canadian society.

The original hoax began when various news outlets, such as the New York Times began reporting that, “an Indigenous community in British Columbia says it has found evidence of what happened to some of its missing children: a mass grave containing the remains of 215 children on the grounds of a former residential school.”

The Chief of the Tk’emlups te Secwepemc First Nation shared that ground-penetrating radar was what was used to discover the remains near the Kamloops Indian Residential School; however, excavations were never held to prove the claims.

“I want to congratulate Turning Point because you’re creating a change that will affect us for decades.”
