The Scottsdale Unified School District held a board meeting on Tuesday, August 24th that drew in a crowd of roughly 200 attendees.
The majority of parents and citizens were there to speak against the mandatory mask mandate for students that the school board implemented.
About 50 people signed up for a three-minute speaking slot in front of the SUSD board members.
Erika Kirk was one of those that had the opportunity to speak in front of the board. Her message was short but POWERFUL, drawing attention to the children who have and who will commit suicide due to the board’s utter disregard of students’ mental health during this time.
