Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk and Vice President of Field Operations Andrew Sypher announced Wednesday a partnership between Club America and the southern state.

Sanders discussed the importance of Charlie Kirk’s work and the influence he has left on the US.

“He changed young people’s lives through the message that he shared: and now that message is being shared more and more, and that is a good thing for America,” the governor said of Charlie Kirk.

The partnership “encourages every Arkansas high school and college to engage in civic discourse by starting a club America or TPUSA chapter,” Sanders stated.

“If school administrators try to suppress students’ freedom of speech, let me assure you that conservatives have just as much a right to speak their mind as anyone else in the country and we will stick up for you,” Sanders declared.

Erika Kirk praised Club America students and their significance to TPUSA during her address to the audience.

“You guys are the heartbeat of this organization, don’t get it twisted any other way,” she told them.

“The greatest investment you have is your time into our organization. When you join a Club America chapter you’re investing your time into our organization. But we also want you to know that we’re investing our time and our resources and our assets into you. This is way bigger than politics. We live in the greatest country in the world.”

Club America is a family, consisting of those often persecuted for their faith and values, she also noted.

“It is not easy to do this. But it is worth it,” Kirk said.

Kirk recommended students to use their time for “something greater,” and to not let anyone outcast them.

“Don’t let anyone disenfranchise you because you’re a young man, especially a young white man: don’t let anyone talk down to you, we need strong men who are convicted.”

As long as you’re a part of TPUSA you have us by your side. We will be there for you every step of the way.

Andrew Sypher noted TPUSA’s commitment to Charlie Kirk’s goal of enlarging the organization’s presence throughout US campuses.

“Club America is now on 3,300 high schools in America. That is, nearly 13% of all high schools in America have a Club America presence,” Sypher said. “What does that mean? 13% of America has young leaders that are now influencing their peers to say it’s OK to love America. It is OK to be patriotic. It is OK to be a believer.”

In the past few months, several other states have made partnerships, including Florida, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Montana, Tennessee, and Texas.

A proclamation for the partnership can be read at the Arkansas Governor’s website.
