Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, put out a video yesterday after Governor Cuomo (a leftist) shut down all indoor dining in New York.
This has not been his first video Portnoy has put out since the start of COVID-19.
He said what everyone SHOULD be thinking at this point.
Portnoy:
“What do they think is gonna happen? What do they think is going to happen to the thousands of restaurants? They’re done! The bar and restaurant industry and small businesses have been squeezed and squeezed and squeezed. And they’ve tried everything. They’ve been as creative as possible…” and “[Business owners have] been as creative as you can be to save their livelihood, to save what they’ve spent decades of blood, sweat, and tears building. They’ve done whatever. They’ve scratched and clawed, and now a few politicians New York City is like, ‘Eh, you’re done! We’re shutting it down! No indoor dining.’ It’s insanity. I can’t believe in this country what I consider the most basic right of them all, the right to earn a living, the right to earn a livelihood, is now being stolen.”
The only thing Dave Portnoy should have been more clear on is the FACT that it’s LEFTIST politicians who have made these irrational rules and are entirely killing people’s livelihoods.
I talked to a nurse yesterday at my facial, and she told me Cedars–Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles (where she also works) has the vaccine already, and they have begun to distribute it.
If masks work, why do we need to shut down restaurants? If social distancing works, why do we need to shut down restaurants? If masks and social distancing work, why do we need a vaccine? If the vaccine is the cure, and we have it, why shut down restaurants now?
