Conservatives Respond To Dylan Mulvaney’s ‘Day 365 Of Girlhood’ Performance

Just over a year ago, former Broadway performer Dylan Mulvaney took on his most prominent and final role, which has since taken over the internet. He got into character and became what many are calling — a girl.
Last September, Mulvaney was invited to speak at the 2022 Forbes Power Women’s Summit, after just 191 days of “identifying” as a woman. Of course, there were a number of women, who were born women, who had accomplished incredible things as women, who were not given this honor. This kind of praise and attention is reserved for “trans women.”
Following his speech where he told his heroic story of being instantaneously TikTok famous, iconic brands lined up to pay their due diligence to the trendiest woman of the year. Ulta Beauty featured him on a podcast series where he described the act of “tucking” as a “sacred” part of his daily routine. (For those wondering, this technique has serious health consequences, and should not be advertised by a beauty mega-corporation.)
Instacart got in on the action and featured “Dylan Sleepover Essentials” for consumers to purchase Dylan’s top snack pick from the app and have it delivered to their door for a sleepover — where they of course would just watch more videos of Dylan!
A few months later, Dylan Mulvaney was invited to the White House to speak with President Biden regarding the importance of allowing children to medically transition, and permanently alter their adolescent bodies before their brains have fully developed.
All of the opportunities given to Mulvaney after he “transitioned” were the “rising action” in this cinematic theatre performance, leading up to the climax of the show: “Day 365 of Girlhood.“
Streaming live from New York City’s Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center, Dylan Mulvaney set up the production of a lifetime, parading around in Disney-princess-like dresses, surrounded by adoring fans, and backup dancers to celebrate his transition.
The entire performance was just that — a performance. The show featured a long clip of “haters” who were almost exclusively Daily Wire personalities criticizing the way Mulvaney has portrayed a caricature of a woman. He featured Matt Walsh, who explained in a widely shared and highly controversial statement that Mulvaney has not become a female and has lost every positive masculine quality he once possessed, without equally gaining any positive aspects of femininity.
Walsh responded to the performance stating, “it proves all of the points that we have been trying to make about this man . . . our entire criticism of Mulvaney is that he is not a woman but rather a performer wearing womanhood as a costume. His idea of womanhood is what he learned from a Disney cartoon, and how exactly does he respond to that charge? Well, by dressing up as a Disney princess.” Walsh went on to say that the tearful performance is inauthentic because Mulvaney himself said that he had been rehearsing each moment.
Conservative commentator Allie Beth Stuckey responded in a delicate way, explaining that she is saddened by the fact that estrogen hormone drugs have “ruined” his formerly incredible male voice. Stuckey agreed with Mulvaney’s statement claiming that “God didn’t make a mistake” creating him, but Allie Stuckey emphasized that God made him a male — God didn’t make him trans, or a female, or place him in the wrong body.
Daily Wire commentator Michael Knowles echoed Stuckey’s statements, saying, “God did not make a mistake with you or me, and the transgender ideology says, I am a mistake.”
James Lindsay took a different approach, explaining that Mulvaney had always been “narcissistic,” using footage from before his “transition” as evidence to his point. Mulvaney was always a very theatrical and over-the-top person, who appeared to enjoy being the center of attention.
