Gavin Newsom, the bonafide hypocrite, is at it again with his biased approach to governing over the state of California. In the latest episode of his daily theatrics, he is doubling down on churches and places of worship in the face of SCOTUS rulings that allow them to re-open.
In his typical fashion, he claims that places where people speak, chant, and sing together are incredibly high risk, yet he has done very little to shut down film sets, sporting events, and other forms of entertainment across the state.
Bottom line, you can’t just pick and choose who gets locked down and who gets to carry on business as usual.
“We cannot afford to let tyranny against religion rise in the guise of well-meaning governmental ‘protections,'” said Thomas LiMandri, an attorney with the conservative Thomas More Society, representing South Bay United Presbyterian Church of Chula Vista in San Diego County.
Shouldn’t places of worship be essential? I think so.
