Chloe Cole Sues the Hospital that Facilitated Her Gender Transition as a Child

Chloe Cole, who identified as transgender when she was younger, and has recently de-transitioned, is suing the doctors who facilitated her medical transition when she was just a child.
At twelve years old, Cole told her parents that she was struggling with her gender identity, and wanted to transition from a female to a male. After being taken to doctors for “professional help,” Cole was put on puberty blockers at the age of 13 and underwent a double mastectomy at the age of 15. Her parents were told that without medical intervention, it was likely that Cole would develop suicidal ideation, which was not the case, it was coercion.
Now, Cole deeply regrets the procedures performed on her before she could fully understand the ramifications, and has trouble coping with the irreversible damage caused. Cole is now an outspoken advocate for ending transgender “affirmative care” surgeries and medications for children, and has shared her testimony around the country.
“I was butchered by an institution that we trust more than anything else in our lives,” she added. “What is worse is that I am not alone in my pain. I will ensure that the blood and tears of de-transitioners like me will not be in vain. It is impossible for me to recoup what I have lost, but I will fight to ensure that no other children will be harmed at the hands of these liars and mutilators.”

Cole’s legal team, Dhillon Law Group and LiMandri & Jonna LLP, in conjunction with the Center for American Liberty, delivered a letter with the intent to sue Permanente Medical Group, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals. Cole has also recently testified in California against “gender-affirming health care” legislation, which recently made California a sanctuary state for transgender persons.
As reported in the Epoch Times “Cole alleges that she was told by medical professionals that the distress she was experiencing was because of gender dysphoria and would resolve as she transitioned. But, after undergoing several phases of transition over multiple years, her mental health deteriorated, and she became more suicidal following the double mastectomy, according to the letter.”
With this letter of intent to sue, Kaiser Permanente has 90 days to settle, or they must respond to the letter before a lawsuit is filed by Cole and her legal team.
“I’m hoping that in doing this, I can encourage other people, especially other people who medically transitioned as minors, to be able to come forward and seek justice for themselves.”
