We have witnessed the left frequently change definitions of basic concepts. But when do we say it’s too progressive and put a stop to it? In recent years with the rise of 3rd wave feminism and the trans movement, the word “chest feeding” has now come to fruition. The term has been used to make ‘trans women’ feel included and accepted. The left needs people to believe that “trans women are women” and to do this, they are erasing every aspect of womanhood.
The term “chestfeeding” was coined to claim that biological men, who identify as women, can actually breastfeed their children — without the bodily means to do so. This term was made up specifically to coddle mentally ill grown men who are distraught over the fact that they will never be a mother.
In reality, there is no denying the biological, and chromosomal differences between a man and a woman. This is the absolute truth. Women generally have the ability to become pregnant, women are generally able to have children, and only WOMEN can breastfeed children.
We live in a free country where yes you can identify as non-binary, trans masculine, trans whatever, go by different made-up pronouns, but none of this changes your biological abilities. Breastfeeding included.
Of course, all of Hollywood followed suit once the new terminology was agreed upon. Rainn Wilson, a popular character from “The Office” series, learned not to joke about the trans movement, and to only sit back and applaud as they change the entire English language. Recently, he attempted to make a joke online by tweeting, “you can no longer say ‘nursing or breastfeeding mother’ you have to say ‘chestfeeding person.’ Just FYI,” and the left wing mob was ready and waiting to call him out.
He gave in just one day later, stating, “Yesterday I tweeted a mean crack about breastfeeding vs chestfeeding. After speaking with some Trans friends and educating myself a bit more I want to apologize for the tweet. It was adding to misinformation and meanness.”
Wilson claimed that he was contributing to “misinformation” — by stating the simple fact that men can’t breastfeed a baby. It is a very backwards ideology, and almost everyone knows it, they are just too scared to speak up against the mob.
Regardless, buying into the woke mentality and bowing down to this ideology is the problem. Whats wrong with breast feeding? Even if a woman “identifies” as non-binary, it doesn’t change the fact that she still has breasts and the ability to breast feed. At the end of the day, changing definitions is harmful to society. To have a shared and functioning country, we need to have a shared language, but increasingly, we don’t.
