Charlie Kirk Stops at UCLA for TPUSA ‘Live Free Tour’ Amid Pro-Palestine Protests on Campus

As Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk visits the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) as the last stop of the TPUSA Live Free Tour, pro-Palestine protestors gathered on campus to condemn Israel in its recent battle with Hamas.
Video from the campus shows protestors waving Palestinian flags and advocating for an end to what they view as the occupation of Palestinian territories. Signs carried by the protesters bore slogans such as “Students and Workers Stand with Palestine,” “Free Palestine,” and “End the Occupation.” Protestors also chanted the genocidal slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” and even chanted in Spanish, saying “Viva viva Palestina.”
UCLA is one of several college campuses across the country that Kirk is visiting as part of the TPUSA Live Free Tour. The tour aims to encourage open dialogue and promote conservative values on college campuses, a place that has become a battleground for ideologies and actively suppresses conservative thought.
The recent pro-Palestine protests during Charlie Kirk’s visit to UCLA, and similar ones happening across the country, are indicative of a lack of knowledge and truth on college campuses. In recent days, college campuses have turned hostile as students naively show support for Palestinian terror groups and condemn Israel’s actions to defend itself.
Last month, TPUSA reported on a number of college professors who have espoused blatant support for Hamas and have promoted anti-Semitic sentiment. One of which was a transgender assistant professor at the University of California-Davis who threatened so-called “zionist journalists” in the U.S. and their children.
Now more than ever, voices like Kirk are pivotal for college students to hear. It is vital for students to critically examine the narratives they encounter and engage in constructive dialogue to better understand complex topics like the Israeli-Palestinian situation.
