Canadian University Promotes “All Ages” Sex Toy Bingo

A Canadian university has received significant online backlash after the student association promoted an event on their social media pages titled “sex toy bingo” which was initially advertised for “all ages.”
The Saint Mary’s University student association posted the promotion to their instagram page early on February 2, 2023, and almost immediately faced a firestorm from web users across multiple platforms. By the end of the day, a new graphic was posted.

“CORRECTION: SMU Students Only 18+” the new graphic read in bright red lettering, along with the caption, “CORRECTION: Sex Toy Bingo is open for SMU Students only, ages 18+.”
There is the possibility that this could have been an innocent mistake. That being said, it is just as likely that it was intentional, because that is unfortunately the world we live in.
Ultimately, whether or not it was intentional is beside the point, given that the most horrifically vulgar performances are open to children across the United States and Canada in the name of inclusion. Because of the newest cultural phenomenon surrounding LGBTQ+ activism, some parents will see an adults-oriented event advertised, and if “all ages” is on the promotion, they will bring their children, despite knowing that they will be exposed to inappropriate things.
When the event being promoted contains anything inappropriate for children, people must be held accountable. The left is obsessed with incorporating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training, CRT training, and sexual harassment and assault training in workplaces, military units, college spaces, and even the classroom. The conclusion of progressivism is chaos, it is grown men cross dressing in front of children and calling it a performance in the name of liberation and acceptance, rather than calling it what it is: predatory.
Our society is attempting to normalize the sexualization of children by classifying pedophiles as “M.A.P.s” to spare their feelings, by mutilating the bodies of minors and giving them puberty blockers (which do not pause maturation, they prevent it altogether, locking children in a perpetual state of adolescence), and by allowing teachers to discuss sexuality with students away from parent’s prying eyes. I think it is time for adults to learn how to protect childhood innocence and begin standing up against instances like this — mistake or not.
