California YMCA Allows ‘Trans-Women’ to Share Locker Room with Underage Girls, 17-Year Old Was ‘Terrified’ After Encounter

It is No Longer Fun to Stay at the YMCA
A California YMCA has made it clear that they are committed to offering a safe space for adult men who identify as women instead of minors using their facilities, all in the name of “inclusivity.”
17-year old Rebecca Phillips was using the locker room at a YMCA in San Diego when she encountered a naked male, who identifies as a transgender women. The 66-year old transgender woman, Christynne Wood has received top surgery, however still maintains his male physical appendages, which the young girl claimed to have been unexpectedly exposed to.
Phillips was stepping out of the shower when she saw what appeared to be an adult man standing there. Terrified, she stepped back behind the curtain and waited for him to leave the locker room.
“I could only think of my five year old sister, who I bring to this gym during the summer to enjoy their waterslides.”

After the man left the facility, Phillips had gathered her thoughts to speak with the front desk about what she had just witnessed before leaving. She was told by YMCA management that the man would be allowed to use whichever gendered facility he preferred.
Appearing at a city council meeting to discuss the incident, Phillips can be heard holding back tears from the traumatic experience, in which an area she believed to be safe was invaded by a man, who was undressed, and who showed no regard for the underage females who might be in the facility.
“As long as you are not a red flag on Megan’s Law, the California sex offender registry, a grown male can shower along side a teenage girl at your YMCA location here in Santi.”

After her conversation with the management at the YMCA, Phillips described feeling as though she was the problem, and not the man who felt the need to share intimate spaces with underage females.
“Somehow the indecent exposure of a male to a minor was an inconvenience to them.”

Phillips father was informed by the sheriffs office that there was little they could do concerning the policy, and that her father would should prevent Phillips from using the facilities at that gym ever again.
“This is the YMCA, where hundreds of children spend their summer afternoons in childcare camps. This is the YMCA, where my little sister took gymnastics lessons, the locker room was supposed to be her safe haven to gossip with her friends, and shower, and change.”

It is despicable that any business would prioritize the predations and disordered desires of an adult male over the safety of a minor, who cannot legally consent to seeing explicit material elsewhere, but apparently can be exposed to it at her local YMCA.
