The local Turning Point USA chapter at California Lutheran University has recently been targeted with a smear campaign from students on campus. The Chapter had been unanimously approved by the school’s senate and was consistently tabling on campus for about a month before any attacks surmounted against the Conservative students leading the Chapter.
Recently, the students were hosting a tabling event on campus with a “socialism graveyard” and distributing pro-Second Amendment materials when they were attacked by Leftist students on campus.
A cyber-harassment campaign began and started to grow attention through an Instagram account known as “@CLU_United.”
The smear campaign gained the attention of the student body president, who proceeded to hold a meeting with the executive board of the TPUSA Chapter on campus to offer two choices–disaffiliate from the university and become a non-sanctioned club on campus or disaffiliate from the national organization of TPUSA entirely.
The Chapter’s executive board decided to stand with the national organization of TPUSA and chose to disaffiliate from the university. Students involved in the Chapter say, “not a single person came up to our table to have a dialogue, they were behind their phones for the whole situation.”
Looks like the Left’s keyboard warriors are at it again, taking down another TPUSA Chapter in the name of “inclusivity” and “tolerance.”
