Breastfeeding Man Sculpture Placed Outside of Former Women’s Museum in Denmark

A museum initially created to celebrate women’s accomplishments in history has been rebranded and renamed the Gender Museum Denmark, and now it features a grotesque sculpture of a bearded, naked, breastfeeding man.
Formerly named the Women’s Museum in Denmark, the museum now boasts being “one of the few museums in the world, focusing on gender and equality.” Throughout the museum are displays meant to challenge gender norms and societal understanding of what gender is. An exhibit titled “gender blender,” aims to propagate LGBTQ+ ideology and progressive platitudes.
“In the museum’s main hall stands an 11-foot-tall statue of a naked man with male features and genitalia who is also depicted as having female breasts. The man is shown holding and ‘breastfeeding’ a baby.”

The obscene sculpture represents the transgender ideology which has permeated much of the western world, consistently propagating the facade of men impersonating women. The statue at the Women’s Museum in Denmark is yet another example of the left’s attempt to push their agenda on society. It is offensive and inappropriate to depict a bearded man with male genitalia breastfeeding a child in a women’s museum.
The museum also offers sex education for children “through a culture-historical and norm-critical view of sexuality and gender.”
“The societal norms that [children] experience on their own bodies are set against cultural history through objects from the history of sexual culture. In this way, we show the students that sex, gender roles and understandings of sexuality are rooted in our cultural history, and that ideas about gender, sexuality and sexual practices have changed over time.”

This statue undermines the very concept of motherhood and is an insult to the struggles that women have faced throughout history. The left’s obsession with promoting the transgender movement is not only insulting to women but is also the pretext to open pedophilia.
Suste Bonnén, a sculptor, writer, and photographer wrote an article condemning the statue, calling it a “pedophile’s dream.” She wrote, “the mother satisfies the child’s needs,” and noted that a man, who is physically incapable of ever breastfeeding a child, “only satisfies his own.”
Though several people have joined Bonnén in criticizing the disfigured and disgusting sculpture, the “artist” who created it said that he enjoys its “provocative” nature. The sculptor explained his reasoning behind its creation by stating, “I think there are many fathers who go and are a little envious that they cannot provide nourishment for their child in the same ways as the mother.” He also added that he hopes “the sculpture [would be] used in a context where men’s maternity was discussed.”
The fact that this statue has been defended by any as a representation of equality and inclusion is absurd. There is no equality in a man breastfeeding a child. Some things are exclusive and are meant to be. The museum should remove this offensive and inappropriate sculpture immediately. It is time to stop pandering to the radical left and start respecting the unique experiences and capabilities of women throughout history.
