A confidential source at Veritas Scholars Academy has leaked correspondence with Headmaster Dr. Bob Cannon, who insists that anyone wishing to attend the End of the Year activities must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. This requirement includes 2-year-olds attending events with their mothers.
According to rules posted online, failure to adhere to Dr. Cannon’s COVID policy will bar attendees from participating in any event including: Mom’s Tea, Child Graduation Lunch, Family Reception, or Graduation itself.
Since students learn entirely online, the end-of-year events are one of the very few opportunities for parents, students, and family members to gather and make memories as a school community.
A member of Veritas Scholars Academy brought concerns to Dr. Cannon, leaked exclusively to TPUSA. The correspondence below shows Dr. Cannon considering mandatory COVID-19 testing for both vaccinated and unvaccinated attendees—doubling down on his mandate and disregarding vaccination status entirely.
In the same leaked correspondence, Dr. Cannon accuses those who wish to attend the event without following his COVID-19 mandates as illogical:

An internal student poll at Veritas Scholars Academy was taken, showing a vast majority of students are unhappy with the COVID-19 demands imposed by Dr. Cannon.
Over half of students—52.7%—are concerned about the requirements made by Dr. Cannon for the Veritas Scholars Academy. Only 38.2% of students remain unconcerned with the COVID-19 requirements.
However, the same internal poll showed that 63.1% of students are not happy with the current COVID-19 regulations at Veritas Scholars Academy, and only 24.1% of students currently approve.
During the time of publishing, a federal judge blocked the CDC’s mask mandates on airplanes. Attendees at the EOY events at Veritas Scholars Academy will be flying on these airplanes mask-free, and without the need to show proof of vaccination throughout their journey.
However, the same freedoms cannot be promised once these passengers land for the events at Veritas Scholars Academy.
