The Boston Athletics association has decided to create a new category for runners wishing to register for any of the races put on by the organization. Individuals who do not identify as male or female can now identify as “non-binary” when registering for races. This was done in an effort to be “more inclusive” of the LBBTQ+ community, but I have a good feeling it will end up backfiring.
The change was officially confirmed when the Boston Marathon organizers opened registration for the 127th run, which will take place on April 17, 2023. Concerns have been raised about the standards that will be set for this category, and worry that if not accurately or fairly defined slower runners “will abuse the category just to get qualified in a race for which it is notoriously hard to win entry.”
My concern, is that with everything on the left, the Boston Athletics Association’s attempt at inclusion will not be inclusive enough. For the past two years, social media has been overflowing with meaningless pronouns and “neopronouns” which essentially is the redefining of words such as “cat” that have nothing to do with the human form and using them in the place a gendered pronoun.

The multiple “LGBTQ+” or “minority” businesses that were taken over by radical leftist employees demanding public acknowledgment for “grievances” and the redistribution of assets.

The problem with giving the LGBTQ+ militants an inch, is they will always take a mile. Giving a small amount is never enough, and I’m sure that in time the “non-binary” subcategory will grow a mile long, like so many others have, listing every made-up gender under the sun.
Boston Athletics Association along with many other competitive sporting organizations have continued to give up ground on reality, and it’s pretty disappointing.
