BLM Co-Founder Buys Million Dollar Mansion
Black Lives DON’T Matter to BLM.
If black lives mattered to BLM, they would be giving 100% of their proceeds to black people in need. In a world where BLM truly cared about black people, there would be community centers, educational programs, child care, job training, career placement, scholarships and funds for displaced black business owners. Instead, their co-founder bought a mega-mansion.
Records show that Patrisse Cullors, one of BLM’s founders, just purchased a $1.4 million home in Topanga Canyon, CA. Ms. Cullors will now live in a Los Angeles valley where the population is 88% white. Her critics argue that she’s profiting off the generous donations of people who wanted to help an underserved community. It certainly seems like they’re right.
Supporters of BLM beware: Black Lives Matter is a Delaware, for-profit corporation. It is not a charity. They spend a significant amount of their raised money on corporate travel, the campaigns of white politicians and apparently, mansions.
This sounds insane, right? Well, as a for-profit business, this would be totally fine. For-profits are not bound by specific laws or guidelines that charities closely follow.
This is gross use of funds, but I know I don’t speak for myself when I say I’m not shocked. They’ve been using divisive rhetoric and have used race-baiting to take in over $90 million within the last year alone. This isn’t about progress or equality. It’s self-serving and does absolutely nothing to assist the black community they pretend to care about.
