A Great Harvest Bread location in Arlington, Virginia, has received public backlash for posting a local Turning Point USA Club America chapter flyer (main image) on its window.

Reagan Reese, White House Correspondent with the Daily Caller, broke the story Tuesday on X.

Some community members, frustrated with the flyer, commented critically about the bakery on a Facebook page titled Fairlington Appreciation Society. Aside from general disapproval, some of these critics used bread puns to express their feelings.

“Always disappointing to see a good place go fascist. No matter how good the bread is, I won’t break it with Nazis,” one commenter said.

“Kneadless to say, that bakery won’t be getting any of my dough. Way to rise to the occasion,” another person said.

The flyer was eventually taken down by the business.

“The monkey bread from Great Harvest is the best I’ve ever had,” a patron of the Great Harvest location told the Daily Caller. “[W]hich really makes it all the more disappointing that my neighbors are collectively showing their a***s like baboons over a piece of paper in a window.”

According to The Daily Caller, ”The Great Harvest Bread Company’s corporate office and the local store did not immediately respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.”

It is unknown if this Great Harvest location is a proponent of TPUSA and if it promoted Club America independently; or if it allowed the chapter to promote itself through their business.
