EXCLUSIVE: Arizona Teacher Placed on Administrative Leave after Repeatedly Saying ‘Hail Satan’ to Students

A Mesa Public School teacher has been placed on administrative leave after allegedly holding a satanic pitchfork in the classroom and chanting “Hail Satan” to students.
The incident came to public attention when concerned parent Chris Hamlet took to social media to describe a troubling encounter involving his son and the teacher, Jesse Ruiz, at Mesa High School. In his post, Hamlet detailed the teacher’s alleged actions, which included wearing horns, brandishing a pitchfork, and saying “hail Satan” each time a student walked into the classroom.
Hamlet further stated that his son expressed discomfort to his teacher about these actions and attempted to remove the pitchfork from above his head. Despite the student’s objections, Ruiz persisted in his behavior, seemingly unconcerned with the student’s refusal, and even pointed the pitchfork directly into his face.

In addition to these allegations, Hamlet disclosed that several weeks prior, an inappropriate altercation occurred between his son and the geometry teacher. During this encounter, Ruiz accused Hamlet’s son of harboring homophobic sentiments due to his Christian beliefs. Ruiz is openly homosexual, Hamlet claims.
Mesa Public Schools, in response to the allegations surrounding Ruiz’s behavior, has confirmed that their Human Resources department has begun an investigation into the incident. TPUSA can confirm that Mr. Ruiz has been placed on administrative leave by the district.
While it remains unclear whether Ruiz’s behavior was intended as humor or satire, it is important to note that such actions are extremely inappropriate for a classroom teacher, regardless of intentions.
