For almost three years, America has seen over one million gun sales — per month.
If you think about it, this makes total sense. When you take into account COVID, the failing foreign policy of the Biden Administration, the collapsing economy, and now, the rabid gun grabbers, who, not only want to take guns and punish manufacturers, but also remove the 2nd Amendment and any individual right to firearm ownership. It is understandable why Americans with common sense want to dedicate a little bit of their budget to stocking up on their firearm and ammunition collection.
I mean heck, I sure am! Here’s me with my EDC Glock:
June 2020, during the violent and destructive Black Lives Matter riots, saw the highest on record firearm sales for that time frame.
But what takes second place? June 2022, just last month! Gun sales last month were at some of the highest levels in years.
This makes one thing clear: our country is in trouble. Citizens feel generally unsafe with such weak individuals in leadership positions who are clearly only interested in selling out Americans. They aim to make innocent, law-abiding citizens defenseless while simultaneously defunding the police.
Justin Anderson, the marketing director for one of the nation’s largest firearms sellers, called Hyatt Guns, in Charlotte, North Carolina, told the Washington Examiner he’s seeing a ton of new gun buyers — especially African Americans and women.
During the interview, Anderson explained the gun-purchasing phenomenon:
“People are becoming more and more informed at just how inept and unwilling government agencies are to protect them, and in some extreme cases, may threaten them.”
I couldn’t have said it better myself! Let’s all exercise our Second Amendment rights and train to defend ourselves from all viable threats.
