Abortion Activists Jump on Police Vehicle, Eat Model Baby Display on NY College Campus
Enraged abortion activists at a Syracuse, New York college campus mobbed Students for Life America Field Operations Coordinator and Turning Point USA ambassador Savannah Craven while she set up a pro-life display honoring the lives lost to abortion. One student ate a baby model displayed on the table, while others stole or destroyed her property.
“I had no idea that I would scramble to leave campus later that day with damaged and missing property — some of which (although plastic) was actually eaten,” Craven said.
The TPUSA ambassador and SFLA Field Operations Coordinator prepared a display of 1,025 pink staked crosses at Onondaga Community College (OCC), “to represent the lives lost to Planned Parenthood nationwide every single day,” and brought with her “preborn baby models to showcase the humanity of life in [the] womb in its various stages.” The models were meant to provide a visual component to help students better understand human development, but instead, the models were taken and eaten by an abortion activist who said that she would “swallow that sh*t.”
“This isn’t even the first time this has happened to me,” Craven later said regarding the incident.
Craven said that she also brought “a Sexual Assault Hotline resource, local pregnancy center resources, and information about SFLA’s Standing With You supportive services initiative to hand out.”
“[The protesters] were just mad I wasn’t handing out condoms,” she added.

The first incursion of the day occurred when a female student trampled on the symbolic crosses displayed in the grass behind Craven’s table.
Abortion supporters and LGBTQ students on campus quickly surrounded Craven’s table and began chanting “Go home” repeatedly before crying out in unanimous support as one girl shrieked, “We love abortion!”
Craven took several videos from behind the SFLA table, which showed the abortion activists encircling her while shouting. One student standing directly in front of the table then took the model fetus that was on the table, placed it in her mouth, and began chewing.
“Can you take that out of your mouth?” Craven can be heard asking the student. A transgender-identifying student nearby told the girl to “swallow it,” and another told her to “spit it out on the table.” She ultimately chose to spit out the model fetus and place it directly in Craven’s hand. She later told Craven, “Yeah, I’d swallow that sh*t.” The student who first told her to “swallow it,” then said, “I’d suck that baby up with a boba straw.”

“To the abortion lobby’s embarrassment, this isn’t even the first time this has happened to me. I saw someone eat a fetal model at Hunter College, as well. Another SFLA team member just had this happen last week at Binghamton University, too,” Craven reported after the incident.
Campus police eventually arrived on the scene to escort Craven to safety, but the abortion activists continued to follow her as she walked with officers away from the mob of students. Some protesters reportedly jumped on the campus police vehicle before Craven was placed in the car and driven to safety.
Officers reportedly told Craven to not go back to the campus the following day, fearing that the mob of students would be provoked again. Craven told TPUSA that she is “in the process” of considering legal action against students who violated the law.
Turning Point USA reached out to OCC for additional information concerning whether or not any of the students who destroyed property and damaged police vehicles will be facing charges, and was told that “the events of September 28” will be used “as a learning experience for our entire campus community.”
“The events, which occurred on campus September 28, are under investigation by Onondaga Community College’s outstanding Department of Campus Safety and Security,” OCC said in its official comment to TPUSA. “Onondaga Community College supports the First Amendment and freedom of speech, the importance of civil discourse, and diversity of thought. We listen to each other and understand viewpoints even if we don’t agree with everything we hear. It’s important for all of us to be open minded and keep the lines of communication open with each other. We will use the events of September 28 as a learning experience for our entire campus community.”
