You have probably seen the reason narrative by liberal elites calling for everyone to reduce meat consumption. Plant-based protein is being advocated for by these environmental alarmists, and even the World Economic Forum has suggested we start eating BUGS instead of traditional meat sources.
Well, now Burger King is jumping on the bandwagon. The fast-food company is trying to sell more burgers that are “meat free.” The initiative started in Europe, and statistics show that one in three Whoopers at the Belgium location for example is vegetarian.
In Australia, Burger King is running advertisements with the slogan “normal or with meat?” Australian locations are trying to normalize non-meat burgers, and want customers to specifically request that their meal is made with meat.
So what’s next, a double cricket burger with soy cheese? no thanks. While this ad campaign may appeal to environmental extremists, most consumers will likely head to other fast food places where they’re not shamed for the simple act of eating meat.
