Here are 3 NFA bills in Congress that are aimed at protecting y0ur 2A rights!
HR1758 – To remove short-barreled rifles from the NFA definition.
HR4312 – To remove short-barreled shotguns from the NFA definition.
HR6817 – To remove certain firearms from the NFA definition.
A rifle is considered short-barreled (SBR) if the barrel of the firearm is shorter than 16 inches and has a stock instead of a pistol brace. Shortening the barrel does not make the gun more lethal or fire more rapidly, if anything it just makes it louder and can cause a bigger recoil.
But because these firearms are defined in the NFA, you have to obtain a tax stamp for that serial number, which takes time and money before you can own the firearm.
