3 Days Away! Packing for AMFEST: Girl Edition
Girls! Let’s talk packing!
If you are anything like me, you probably start thinking about packing a couple of weeks in advance and talking about everything you want to buy…. But don’t actually pack or buy anything until the day before you leave. Lol!
If you’ve been to a Turning Point event before, then you kind of have a feel for what people wear to the conference. If you’ve never been, then I would say it’s anywhere from business professional attire to business casual! I’ve worn nice dresses/skirts and heels, but have also worn jeans and a cute graphic tee and dressed it up with heels! Here are some outfits from previous conferences for reference:
The thing that is different about packing for AmericaFest is the concerts! The concert nights are Saturday and Monday so you will need two outfits to get your country on!
Whatever you wear to the conference will be fine to also wear to the concert. However, if you are like me and want to switch out heels for boots, I will be bringing some country outfits to change before the night begins!
Some extra items to pack:
- Side swing purse (easy to carry around the conference)
- Backup charger
- Comfortable shoes
- Jacket/cardigan to take to conference (it can get cold)
- Business Cards
- Waterbottle
