John Kerry’s Solution to Climate Change is ‘Money Money Money’

Day two of the World Economic Forum Summit in Davos was headlined by Former Secretary of State and current “Climate Envoy” John Kerry putting his savior complex on full display. Kerry appeared at Davos to explain that he is a member of a “select group of human beings” that are coming together to save the planet, and that their mission is “almost extraterrestrial.”

Here’s a quick recap of the WEF’s talking points on day two:

The Paris Climate Agreement that was re-established under the Biden administration had the goal of limiting the global temperature increase to 1.5 degrees Celsius by 2032. But Kerry stated at the WEF summit that “we’re not on track” to remain under the target.

Kerry spoke in a WEF session called “Philanthropy: A Catalyst for Protecting Our Planet.” The purpose of the session was to emphasize that the solution to fighting climate change is spending more money. Kerry expressed that there is simply not enough money being allocated toward fighting climate change, and that both governments and private companies need to get more involved and ramp up spending.

The left continues to make the naive assumption that if you spend more money on a problem, it will be solved. But this has been continually debunked. Whether it be our education system, homelessness, or urban development in inner cities, throwing money and a certain political issue has done very little to solve the problem at hand.

Climate change is no different. Broadly stating that more money is needed to fight climate change is not an actual solution to the problems that may be arising. Kerry also stated that government can only make so much change and that private companies need to be given incentives to help fight climate change as well.

Like most climate alarmists, Kerry made several dramatic claims about that the consequences of climate change. Kerry stated that “half the species of the planet have already been killed.” He also claimed that climate change is responsible for unfathomable flooding in California.
