Turning Point USA is delighted to recognize Frontlines reporter Monica Paige Luisi as its first White House Correspondent.
Before joining Turning Point USA, Luisi enjoyed her time working with One America News (OANN) and Newsmax. She has also web-produced for the Emmy-Award winning outlet DailyMail.
Luisi is an expert in providing on-the-spot updates and analysis that goes behind-the-scenes of mainstream American political narratives. Highlighting important stories that are overlooked by major media outlets, Luisi uncovers and exposes truths that deserve widespread public attention.
On February 3, it will be the two-year anniversary of the catastrophic train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. The derailment caused toxic chemicals to be released into the atmosphere, becoming a huge health hazard for residents of the town and region.
During White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s first press briefing, Luisi asked if President Trump had plans on visiting East Palestine, Ohio in light of the derailment anniversary and the President’s current endeavor of visiting disaster-stricken areas. Leavitt said the President did not have plans at the moment to visit East Palestine, but reaffirmed that the President “is a man of the people” and was moved by his prior visit to the town (See video below).
