Turning Point USA

After witnessing the energy and love for freedom for the past four days at Turning Point USA’s 2021 annual Student Action Summit, I have one major thing to say:

R.I.P. Leftism.

Our Turning Point USA student activists have had the most amazing experience at the 2021 Student Action Summit, and Day 4 was exactly what we all needed to take the conservative message back to the THOUSANDS of TPUSA student chapters in high school and college campuses in all 50 states. 

We started with a huge bang with fellow TPUSA Contributor and host of TPUSA’s Benny on the Block, Benny Johnson. Leftists need to remember how to laugh and enjoy themselves, but it sadly looks like all they know how to do is cancel those who disagree with them, riot in the street, and loot small businesses. It’s us conservatives who can actually enjoy ourselves in the fight to win America’s Culture War, and Benny really proved that today. 

I really appreciated that Benny touched on happiness in a data-driven way. Benny said that we conservatives lead in every factor that makes people happy. We are healthier, attend church and synagogue more often, have higher incomes, and even derive happiness from our political affiliations. That’s right—political affiliation is a contributing factor to happiness. Who knew?!

Leftists—sadly—lead in every form of identification that leads to unhappiness. I bet you can already guess what those factors are: race, ethnicity, and gender. These “values” are exactly the things the Left leads with, and no wonder our society is increasingly violent and angry. 

I’m glad we, as conservatives, are on the right path. If for nothing else, let’s at least be conservative to be happy.

I also loved listening to TPUSA’s MAGA Hulk, Stephen Davis, as he took the stage and talked about authentic masculinity.  We need more of this kind of talk in the conservative world, and I’m so glad that my dear friend, Stephen, is taking it on without apology. 

Stephen said that a true man is a master of himself. A man is someone who is in control of himself. This is great, and I want all young men to really take this to heart. We need men in control of their emotions so that society at large can be stable, safe, and conducive to raising families. 

Stephen also said that there is nothing toxic about masculinity. Men have been fed a lie about their masculinity, and I totally agree with him. Men, be confident in yourselves. If men are not confident, Stephen says that you will eventually lower your guard and be susceptible to attack. You need to be strong!

Men need to be robust against attacks, stand up for women and children, strengthen their bodies and enhance their minds.  Stephen was at his very best when he touched on all these points, and I cannot wait to see what more he will share on TPUSA LIVE.

Judge Jeanine Pirro is one of my favorite speakers, and I was so excited to see her at Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit. As an esquire, I share a deep passion for law and order with Judge Jeanine. Needless to say, Judge did not disappoint.

Judge Jeanine launched into a scathing survey of the sad state of affairs in the United States in 2021. The hypocrisy of the Left, the unwillingness to help the freedom fighters in Cuba—yet opening wide the doors to illegals at the southern border, the overpaid teacher unions that are neglecting their duties to innocent children, the rising rates of abuse and depression among our young people during the draconian lockdowns, and the skyrocketing crime rates—where the Left blames the police for being the catalyst. 

This is not the image of America I know and love. I want to see America thrive, and so did everyone in the audience who listened to Judge Jeanine because Judge gets it exactly right. 

Judge rallied the thousands in attendance to dream of a better America, where the government does not control us, where we can attend church regardless of what anyone says, and where we are citizens of truly the greatest country on Earth. This is all true, and as I watched out in the crowd, I saw that every person in attendance believed it in their very being. 

Judge Jeanine’s talk was amazing, and I’m so glad I was able to watch it. The pulse she took on young America is great because these young people do not want to see America suffer from radical Leftist policies anymore. These proud Americans are rising up, and they will win America’s Culture War—I can promise you that!

Charlie made some really great points that I’d love to share with you. 

First, Charlie said that we need to be guardians of desirable ends. I’m going to put that thought in my mind and think about it because that really helps me evaluate what is most important in my life. 

That relates to Charlie’s second point: we need to dedicate ourselves to greater and more important things than us. We need to give ourselves to “transcendentals.” I agree wholeheartedly with this!

We also need self-control—a point that Stephen made earlier. I’m so glad that Charlie reinforced this point. It tells me that conservative men are truly awake to what matters most to winning America’s Culture War. Especially as conservative women, we need to encourage our conservative men to stand for what is true and right.

Charlie Kirk, the founder of TPUSA, has brought us to a revival in the conservative man. I am completely here for it!

But there was one more thing I was here for—as I know the THOUSANDS in attendance were here for the same!

Our incredible team at TPUSA knew exactly how to close the biggest conservative event of the year when I saw Candace Owens walk out on stage. Truly a fearless leader who believes in the power of the truth, Candace sent shockwaves throughout the crowd when she fired away about coercion, tyranny, brainwashing, and lies. The radical Left is truly dead-set on breaking and ruining America—all for their selfish power-grabs. We in the conservative movement will not let them, and Candace made that completely clear to the entire nation. 

Candace laid out every fake crisis of the past 50 to 60 years: drowning polar bears, acid rain, and global warming—which comes up repeatedly throughout the decades—are all ways for you to believe in the government and strip away your power. It was chilling to hear Candace outline the number of times the radical Left has lied to us and thought they could get away with it. But, the power belongs to the people, and we will never vote away our rights. 

Another point I’ll definitely remember is to never idolize someone to the point our own judgment is suspended. Candace said that the Left pushes all these celebrities to make you suspend your own judgment and simply believe what the Left says. But this is all a delusion—we have the truth on our side. 

The truth seems to be catching on because Candace said that the country has never been redder. I’m so glad she said that! I hope the young people in this room—the THOUSANDS that attended and the MILLIONS that are impacted by Turning Point USA every day—believe this fact because the Left certainly wants to think we are alone. Candace has convinced me that we are more united than ever before.

Everyone at TPUSA’s 2021 Student Action Summit is truly bonded under a common cause: We are all in it to SAVE AMERICA!
