COVID Vaccine Support Causes Infighting in the Conservative Movement, Yet We Must Not Forget ‘Medical Freedom’ Started This Very Fight

There has been an unfortunate development of disunity for us on the right in the last few weeks, as we’ve seen a lot of division regarding the COVID vaccine and the politicians in the conservative movement endorsing it.
When President Trump sat down with Candace Owens for an exclusive no holds barred interview, he spoke highly of the vaccine. He claimed people are NOT dying from it and that it is safe and effective, though condemning strongly the mandates under the current administration. He rightly concludes that each American should be allowed to make their own choice in this regard, and not be forced to take something they feel strongly against. In essence, he is supporting medical freedom and our right to choose what’s best for our own bodies and health.

Consequently, many on the right have since spoken out against President Trump, labeling him a traitor to the conservative cause and a fortune opportunist for endorsing the vaccine and vaccinations. Dr. Shiva Ayyadyrai levied an accusation against the former president, stating emphatically that he serves big pharma, while many other patriots have denounced him for merely supporting the vaccine. This has undoubtedly caused a new divide in our movement on the right and I believe it is an issue that needs to be addressed.
Many seem to have forgotten why we began this fight in the very first place. This was, is, and always will be about medical and religious freedoms – no more, no less. I will not forsake friends who choose to get the vaccine. It is not our place to label fellow patriots as “traitors” and “fraudsters” because they are living in accordance with their personal beliefs when it comes to what they choose to do with their medical freedom.

If we demand that no one that labels themself as “conservative” get the jab because a portion of us don’t agree with it, have we not done exactly what the left is doing? Instead of peer pressuring and forcing others to get it, we now use the same tactics on them in efforts they abstain from it? Where is the sense in this hypocrisy? I shall answer this last question for you – there is no sense in this, as this blatant hypocrisy is nonsense and folly. We cannot lose sight of why we are fighting this battle, as we are here to stand up for one’s freedom of speech, freedom to practice whatever religion we so choose, and the freedom to make personal medical decisions without forced interference from any other person.
Stop rising up for the wrong reasons and get back on track compadres, we have a battle to win!
