CNBC Shares Fake News About Inflation

I’m no fortune teller, BUT I know how inflation works, AND I know a tweet that will NOT age well…

CNBC claimed on Twitter that there is a silver lining to… wait for it… inflation?

Yep, they went there.

Not only did they compliment inflation and give it an “upside,” but they also said that the “silver lining” to inflation is “higher salaries.” Check it out:

I’m just STUNNED that there’s ZERO fact check on this!

This is what CNBC lists as their description on Google: “CNBC is the world leader in business news and real-time financial market coverage. Find fast, actionable information.”

Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, and WRONG.

Logic would show that when inflation happens, prices rise. When prices rise, so do salaries. So……

IF THINGS ARE MORE EXPENSIVE, IT DOESN’T MATTER IF PEOPLE MAKE MORE MONEY.

Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. Since I can’t SHOW you how much this makes me mad, I’ll show you a meme that made me less mad because AT LEAST I could point and laugh.

If that wasn’t good enough, enjoy some other responses that are too good not to share:

CNBC, if you are reading this (and for those who want to know about inflation), here’s a refresher from PragerU:

“Charlie is leading the way with young people at Turning Point USA.”
