America’s Firearm Industry Aides in Helping Ukraine
America’s firearms industry has risen to show its support to the Ukrainian fight against the Russian invasion. Manufacturers such as Adams Arms have announced they have a new batch of rifles ready for the Ukrainian fighters and will not have any trouble getting them delivered despite logistical issues caused by the Russian Army.
Adams Arms has also created a fundraiser selling t-shirts with the slogan “Russian warship, go **** yourself,” regarding comments made by a Ukrainian Border Guard when commanded to surrender early in the invasion, with all proceeds going to the Ukrainian National Bank’s war fund.
Vista Outdoor, the owner of CCI, Federal, Remington, and Speer, has pledged to donate 1 million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine armed forces.
Also, Richard Childress, owner of NASCAR and board member of Ammo, Inc, has pledged to donate 1 million rounds of ammo to the fight. Childress based his actions on an emotional statement made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy when he said the people did not want out of the country, they wanted ammunition.
Fred Wagenhals, AMMO’s Chairman & CEO, commented, “We’ve received an overwhelming response from our shareholders, customers, vendors, and partners in support of our donation offer to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces in their fight for freedom. I’m grateful for everyone’s generosity and willingness to provide additional financial support to supplement our efforts. The management team is working around the clock to navigate the logistical and legal complexities involved in seeing that the ammunition is swiftly delivered to the proper parties in Ukraine.”
It’s good to see the generous support of the firearms community and willingness to take action in aiding Ukrainian’s fight against Russia.
This is surely going to go a lot further in supporting the effort than some Hollywood singing parties!
