Joy Fowler Spragens

Advisory Council Member After a successful 29-year career as a Senior Vice President Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill Lynch, Joy took early retirement in 2014 to become a full-time Constitutional activist. Government-run schools from Pre-K through college had become anti-freedom, anti-American, anti-religion, anti-Constitutional institutions indoctrinating students with Socialist and Communist intolerance. "I saw the free market Capitalism that enabled my success being eroded by onerous regulations that robbed entrepreneurs, innovators, and investors of the opportunity to succeed. What was a fairly level playing field has become one filled with land mines and obstacles mandated by unelected, unaccountable, and lifetime-tenured bureaucrats with no practical experience in the field they were regulating. I spent more time dealing with repetitious regulatory compliance than doing the research that would benefit by clients. The freedom that allowed me to go from a six-figure debt to a seven-figure-plus net worth was already not there for the next generation."   Joy serves as Founding Board Member and Vice President of Foundation for Peace, Board Member of the Washington Bach Consort, Vestry member of Christ the Anglican Church in Washington DC, Board Member of 7400 Oceanside in Fisher Island, Florida, voting representative to the Fisher Island Community Association, President and CEO of Mint Design and Development LLC and its subsidiary, Sonoma-Provence, a small organic, family farm in Sonoma County, California. "I would be remiss not to note the current onerous regulatory environment that has hamstrung every one of the organizations above (and more) by adding unnecessary expense, delays, and layers of paperwork. Only the wealthy can afford to navigate these costly regulatory delays and fees."   Joy also serves as a member of the Trump Victory Finance Team; raising money by recruiting, organizing, and bundling donors, recruiting and organizing volunteers, and making calls. She also served on Marco Rubio’s various campaigns, raising money by recruiting, organizing, and building donors, knocking on doors, making GOTV calls, organizing groups for events, recruiting and organizing volunteers, working polls, and campaigning in over a dozen states.

President Donald J. Trump

Donald J. Trump is the 45th President of the United States. He believes the United States has incredible potential and will go on to exceed even its remarkable achievements of the past. His campaign slogan for President was, “Make America Great Again,” and that is exactly what he is doing.

Donald J. Trump defines the American success story. Throughout his life he has continually set the standards of business and entrepreneurial excellence, especially in real estate, sports, and entertainment. Mr. Trump built on his success in private life when he entered into politics and public service.  He remarkably won the Presidency in his first ever run for any political office.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance, Mr. Trump followed in his father’s footsteps into the world of real estate development, making his mark New York City. There, the Trump name soon became synonymous with the most prestigious of addresses in Manhattan and, subsequently, throughout the world.

Mr. Trump is also an accomplished author. He has written more than fourteen bestsellers.  His first book, The Art of the Deal, is considered a business classic.

Mr. Trump announced his candidacy for the Presidency on June 16, 2015. He then accepted the Republican nomination for President of the United States in July of 2016, having defeated seventeen other contenders during the Republican primaries.

On November 8, 2016, Mr. Trump was elected President in the largest Electoral College landslide for a Republican in 28 years. Mr. Trump won more than 2,600 counties nationwide, the most since President Ronald Reagan in 1984. And he received the votes of more than 62 million Americans, the most ever for a Republican candidate. These voters, in delivering a truly national victory and historic moment, rallied behind Mr. Trump’s commitment to rebuilding our country and disrupting the political status quo that had failed to deliver results.

Mr. Trump won, in part, because he campaigned in places Republicans have had difficulty winning—Flint, Michigan, charter schools in inner-city Cleveland, and Hispanic churches in Florida.  He went there because he wanted to bring his message of economic empowerment to all Americans. Millions of new Republicans trusted Mr. Trump with their vote because of his commitment to delivering prosperity through a reformed tax code, an improved regulatory environment, and better trade deals. President Trump’s victory has brought Americans of all backgrounds together, and he is committed to delivering results for the Nation every day he serves in office.

President Trump has been married to his wife, Melania, for twelve years, and they are parents to their son, Barron.  Mr. Trump also has four adult children, Don Jr., Ivanka, Eric, and Tiffany, as well as ten grandchildren.

Secretary Betsy DeVos

Betsy DeVos serves as the 11th U.S. Secretary of Education. She was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on February 7, 2017 after being nominated by President Donald J. Trump.

Secretary DeVos has been involved in education policy for nearly three decades as an advocate for children and a voice for parents. She is especially passionate about reforms that help underserved children gain access to a quality education.

DeVos' interest in education was sparked at an early age by her mother, a public school teacher. It grew when she sent her own children to school and was confronted with the reality that not every child in America is granted an equal opportunity to receive a great education. DeVos saw firsthand the work leaders in her hometown were doing to increase educational opportunities for students and choices for parents, and she has been involved in the fight to provide better educational options across the nation ever since.

For 15 years, DeVos served as an in-school mentor for at-risk children in the Grand Rapids (Michigan) Public Schools. Her interactions there with students, families and teachers, according to DeVos, "changed my life and my perspective about education forever."

A leader in the movement to empower parents, DeVos has worked to support the creation of new educational choices for students in 25 states and the District of Columbia.

As secretary, DeVos will work with President Trump to advance equal opportunities for quality education for all students. DeVos firmly believes that neither the ZIP code in which a child lives nor a child's household income should be the principal determinant of his or her opportunity to receive a world-class education. As secretary, she will advocate for returning control of education to states and localities, giving parents greater power to choose the educational settings that are best for their children and ensuring that higher education puts students on the path to successful careers.

Prior to her confirmation, DeVos served as chairman of The Windquest Group, an enterprise and investment management firm. In addition to her leadership in the education arena, DeVos has also served on the boards of numerous national and local charitable and civic organizations, including the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Kids Hope USA, ArtPrize, Mars Hill Bible Church and the Kendall College of Art and Design.

DeVos is a graduate of Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She is married to entrepreneur, philanthropist and community activist Dick DeVos, and together they have four children and seven grandchildren.
